Registration Now Open for the 2010 WSU/Partnership LID Technical Workshop Series

Registration is now open for the 2010 WSU/Partnership LID technical workshop series. Did you miss any of these great classes in 2007-09? If so, you may want to take that class now, during February - April. Or you can take the class in 2011, as the same classes will also be offered next year.

The classes are state of the art, led by Curtis Hinman of WSU and a host of guest lecturers. Each class is about two days in length, and virtually all aspects of LID are covered, from site planning through design, modeling, construction, performance, and maintenance.

Certificates will again be offered to individuals who take all four classes and complete an exam.

The Partnership is providing funding

to keep registration low (only $110 per two-day class, including all materials, breakfasts and lunches!)

2010 Class schedule:

Bioretention - February 10th-11th

Permeable Paving - March 3rd-4th

Green Roof, Low Impact Foundations & Rain Water Collection - March 16th-17th

Site Planning, TESC, Plan Review, and Inspection - March 31st-April 1st

Note: All classes will be held this time at the WSU research center in Puyallup. This is actually an advantage, as the Puyallup campus now has numerous bioretention and pervious paving plots, thanks to a generous grant to the City of Puyallup from Ecology.

For more information about the classes, including how to register, please see:

.

This is a great opportunity to receive state of the art training on virtually all aspects of LID at a very reasonable cost!
